Summer Photography Workshop

Digital cameras have revolutionized amateur photography. While most people are content to record family celebrations and document vacations, digital photography has gone from pastime to passion for some of us. If you are ready to move to the next level, this is the workshop for you. Professional photographer Craig Norton will guide us through the basic technical features of our cameras to give our photographs more impact and personal style. The initial class will be followed by three field trips to different locations that are full of visual variety. There we will explore our surroundings for new subject matter or a new way of seeing the familiar. Finally we will meet one last time to share our best photographs with each other in a gentle critique. Participants will have the opportunity to “exhibit” their best work in an on-line exhibition on the Benton Museum web site.
